Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival
Anchor Heating and Air is proud to sponsor the annual Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival. This event was first started by the Magwood family in 1988, and it includes a boat parade as well as a ceremonial blessing of the local shrimp and fishing fleet. It also includes:
- Seafood samples from some of the best local restaurants.
- Live music and other live entertainment.
- A craft show.
- Shrimp-eating contests.
The Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival takes place at 99 Harry M. Hallman Jr Blvd., and it’s free to attend. Many of the activities offered at the event are free, too. It benefits local nonprofit organizations like the Carolina Children’s Charity and is always one of the most anticipated events of the year in Charleston, SC.

Charleston Wing Festival
Lets all come together at the Hanahan Ampitheatre on November 17th 2024 to celebrate our love of great chicken wings! Drums or Flats? Smoked or Fried? Ranch or Blue Cheese? No matter your preference, we will have something for you.
Along with great wings, we will also have some fun competitions, games, vendors and lots of stuff to do. So grab your family and come spend your Sunday with us.

Wine Under the Oaks
Wine Under the Oaks is another event that Anchor Heating and Air sponsors each year as part of our community involvement initiative. Held at Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens, which is one of the oldest working plantations in the U.S., it’s so much more than just your typical wine-tasting event.
Wine Under the Oaks happens in early December on the Boone Hall Plantation Back Lawn. It features:
- A complimentary Wine Under The Oaks glass.
- Wine samples from an assortment of local wineries and wine distributors.
- Complimentary oysters, desserts, and other delectable food options.
- A limited number of VIP tables.
- Live musical entertainment.
- Gourmet food and boutique wine available for purchase.

Katie’s Krops
Anchor Heating & Air is proud to have raised $2,000 for Katie’s Krops to support their mission this holiday season. Half of the funds, $1,000, will be used to create Thanksgiving baskets for families in need, while the remaining $1,000 will contribute to Katie’s Krops’ Christmas fundraiser. We’re honored to help make the holidays brighter for our community!
