Position Overview
The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing department with day-to-day tasks and long-term projects. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about marketing, has a creative mindset, and is eager to learn and grow within the HVAC industry.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media.
- Manage and update the company’s social media profiles, creating engaging content to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Support the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, email campaigns, and website content.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
- Assist with the coordination of events, promotions, and community outreach programs.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement lead generation strategies.
- Manage customer reviews and testimonials, ensuring positive interactions and timely responses.
- Maintain and organize marketing databases, including customer lists, email marketing tools, and content calendars.
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the HVAC or home services industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with marketing software/tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, social media management tools).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas and solutions.
- Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including SEO, PPC, and social media advertising.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with HVAC industry trends and customer needs.
