Position Overview
We are always looking for experienced HVAC Technicians. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing HVAC systems. You will be required to travel to the customer’s location to identify and guide them to improve their HVAC needs. We work with commercial and residential HVAC customers, so you must know how to work with small and large HVAC equipment. You will also be responsible for the service installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identifying customer’s needs
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Managing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
- Performing repairs and maintenance
- Participate in a technical training
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
- Supporting team members and peers to achieve KPIs
Key Requirements
- Vocational, training, or apprenticeship of an HVAC program
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- Current HVAC technician license
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
- Working knowledge of boiler systems
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice
- Ability to work in confined spaces
