- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide management with insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigate financial risks.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and decision-making, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide meaningful insights to senior management regarding key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Proven experience in a finance role, with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, and control in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a finance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, utilizing advanced Excel skills and financial software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
- Experience coordinating external audits and tax filings, with a thorough understanding of audit procedures and compliance requirements.
